Addison and Byrne to debut off the bench for Ireland

Ruddock (Captain), van der Flier and Conan will team up in the back row as Ireland and italy face off in Chicago.

Rhys Ruddock last wore the captains armband in 2017 when Ireland toured USA and Japan.

Ross Byrne and Will Addison take their place on the bench and will make their Test debut should they play.

Sean Cronin is the most experienced player for Ireland with just 3 players in the match day squad having more than 25 International Caps.
