The first two opening rounds of Champions Cup action in December lived up beyond all expectations. Take a look at all the matches in Round 3 as the world’s most exciting club rugby tournament prepares to make its return to centre. 

The Stormers welcome Sale Sharks and currently sit sixth in Pool 4, having come out second best in their opening two Champions Cup ties this season. However, impressive wins against the Lions and Sharks during the festive period means the South African sides will be confident of their chances of getting off the Pool 4 bottom spot.

On the other hand Sale Sharks lie fourth in Pool 4 and hold impressive wins over Racing 92 in the Champions Cup and Exeter Chiefs and Bristol Bears in the Premiership in December, means they head to the Southern hemisphere off the back of some strong recent rugby.
