'That is a thing of beauty' - Brian O'Driscoll marvels over Furlong's long pass

Tadhg Furlong has shown off his softer skills again!

The Irish prop through a lovely long pass against Toulouse on Saturday in the Champions Cup semi-final.

With Leinster on the attack, the ball reached Tadhg Furlong in the middle of the park.

The tight-head prop proceeded to throw a quite ridiculous 20-metre pass out Hugo Keenan away down the left wing.

On commentary for BT Sport, Brian O’Driscoll had this to say on Furlong’s pass:

“Normally you'd be thinking, keep the ball in hand, keep the ball in hand but that is a thing of beauty...not many with a number three on their back would do something like that, including when there's a one in front of it. He's a fly half hiding in a tight-head’s body.”

After the pass, Keenan did brilliantly to beat a few defenders before Jamison Gibson Park attempted to grubber the ball through, however, it was blocked and picked up by Antoine Dupont.

The scrumhalf sped away to score a stunning solo try.
