'See you soon' - Ardie Savea adds fuel to Julian's return to the Hurricanes

Bordeaux Begles bound Ben Lam featured in his 50th and final appearance for the Hurricanes on Saturday with his side giving him a perfect send off with a 34-32 victory over the Crusaders.
Lam’s departure leaves the Hurricanes short of speedsters out wide with two games remaining in Super Rugby Aotearoa and while the Hurricanes may not need an immediate replacement on the left wing, they may need one for next season.
The potential return for former All Black Julian Savea to the Hurricanes has gained traction over the past few weeks following his return to New Zealand from French club Toulon.
The speculation of Julian Savea returning to the Hurricanes has gained further ground with younger brother Ardie commenting ‘see you soon’ in a reply to Julian's tweet about Ardie's carry in the win over the Crusaders.

Fans were quick to connect the dots on the potential return of Julian Savea who has been training with a local Auckland club side since returning from France but he is yet to play any games.
Savea is effectively a free agent at the moment with his deal at Toulon not renewed before it expired and while the Hurricanes could deal without Savea for the remaining fixtures with the likes of Salesi Rayasi, Vince Aso, Jonah Lowe and Billy Proctor in the squad, he could be back in the Wellington yellow for 2021.
The former All Black winger was linked with the Highlanders earlier this year with the Landers struggling with injuries in the outside back department before Super Rugby Aotearoa
