The ref referred a tackle to the TMO. The replays showed a tackle from behind by Parks which was fractionally early. The TMO ruled it ok. In fairness it was a 50/50 call but it seems Connacht are getting all the 50/50 calls this afternoon.
Connacht look comfortable allowing Zebre to play the ball on halfway. They aren't committing to the breakdown which leaves them with extra numbers in defence.
Zebre finally get something to show for their pressure. Marmion put up a poor box kick which catches his whole pack offside. Jason Harris-Wright plays the ball and concedes the penalty.
After being denied a try, Zebre go for the scrum. But Connacht get the shove on and win a penalty against the head.
Brendon Leonard taps a penalty quickly and passes to D'Apice who dives across the whitewash. But the ref brings the ball back because the penalty wasn't from the correct place. Zebre are getting no favours from the officials.
