Wasps take a commanding 23-5 lead over the Bristol Bears into halftime. Wasps opened the scoring with an early try and kept the scoreboard ticking over, slotting two penalties to build a 13-0 lead midway through the half. Bristol hit back with a try to get on the board, but Wasps added another penalty to make it 16-5 after half an hour of play. Five minutes before the break Wasps powered over for their second try to take a comfortable 18 point advantage into halftime.
