The British and Irish Lions take a 21-3 lead over the Stormers into halftime. The Stormers opened the scoring with a penalty midway through the half to lead 3-0. The Lions hit back with the game's first try around the half hour mark to go ahead 7-3. A second Lions try followed shortly after and they would cross for a third with he final play of the half for an 18 point advantage at the break.
