Agree O'Gara has no form and would much prefer to see Madigan starting than Jackson. But given a choice between O'Gara and Jackson I would opt for O'Gara. Jackson isn't up to this standard just yet and needs another year or two with full kicking duties to get there.

Agree with most of what you say Joe. But O'Gara has no form for provence or Ireland. The call should be Keatley or Madigan

You can't bring in an out half that has consistently being replaced from place kicking duties with his province as he can only kick the easy kicks. We need a combination of good place kicker and a good out half which Jackson isn't yet. Who would you drop to give Trimble a game?

Typical kidney, too conservative, I live in ulster am Irish and I just want the best player to be given the chance. Trimble should be in as well as Jackson, played well for ulster just needs more game time, can't rely on Ogara for ever, and competition for the 10 jersey is healthy! Nuf said just all get behind the team and get back to winning ways :)

Can't understand how Kidney can pick Jackson to start at 10 considering his place ball kicking is poor and last time he actually had place kicking duties was when he played with the wolfhounds. With so many inexperienced players on the team at this level O'Gara should have started with Madigan on the bench who is a much better out half than Jackson.
