The table doesn't lie as these two sides were the best in the league this season, with Saracens finishing 1st and Northampton 2nd. Both come into this game after playing European finals. Saints came out victorious in the Amlin defeating Bath, while Saracens had a tough ask taking on Toulon in the Heineken. Today marks Saracens captain Steve Borthwick last game for the club after 6 years with the club. While Saints welcome back England hooker Dylan Hartley to the bench. When these sides met in the league, the first encounter ended 41-20 to Saints but Saracens won the return game narrowly by edging Saints out 28-24.
