Saracens finally get more points on the board after a long spell of pressure on the Newcastle defence. Penalty is awarded at the scrum and Charlie Hodgson opts to kick for the 3 points.

Saracens have increased the tempo of this game so far in the second half and Newcastle are struggling to hold off their attack.

Not an ideal start for Newcastle as they give away an early penalty which is kicked by Charlie Hodgson to take Saracens further ahead.

Second half underway here in Saracens, only one change at the break with Wigglesworth replacing De Kock.

Halftime here at Allianz Park with Saracens leading by 7 at the break. Both teams started slowly but eventually were able to get on the scoreboard. Newcastle opened the scoring through the boot of Phil Godman but Saracens were able to score the first try through veteran out half Charlie Hodgson after a lovely show and go.
