Hamilton returns from the bin and Montpellier need to tighten up soon before this game becomes very one-sided.

TRY TOULON. Menacing start to the half for Toulon as they turn the ball over, work it one way and then the next, constantly stretching the depleted Montepllier defence before wing David Smith crosses out wide. Giteau does not strike the touchline conversion at all and it's 24-3 to Toulon.

And it's half-time here. Toulon have dominated for most periods of the game and made it tell with a flurry of points towards the end to open some day-light. Montpellier will begin the second-half still reduced to 14 men and if they don't provide something drastic they may be in danger of falling out of reach in this game.

PENALTY TOULON. Giteau does well in continuing the kicking duties in Wilkinson's absence. Another fine break from Armitage looked like it would lead to a try but instead a penalty results.
