First penalty of the second half goes to the Pumas as Griquas did not roll away. Van Staden finds touch and Pumas have an attacking line out on the Griquas 22

Play back on now as Van Staden gets the second half underway

Half time and the Pumas with a very good defensive showing in the first half restricting Griquas, and managing to keep well in touch in scoring stats. Possession wise Griquas dominated but were unable to convert all the pressure they put on the Pumas try line into points.
Pumas will need to find a way to play the game in the opposing half because Griquas will be looking to step up their game even more in the second half.

Van Staden not able to convert but, the Pumas lead.

Pumas finally now enjoying some possession and go onto the attack. Some excellent interplay results in a well deserved try in the corner with the kick to follow

Penalty to the Pumas as the man is tackled in the air in the line out. Van Staden slots the kick and puts the Pumas back into the lead.

The conversion attempt seemed rushed as Brummer again pushes it wide.
