The Ospreys lead at the break despite the Scarlets playing most of the rugby in the first half. Stephen Myler opened the scoring in the 13th minute after the Ospreys first entry into Scarlets' half before Reuben Morgan-Williams scored a beaut of a solo try. The Scarlets had two missed shots at goal with Dan Jones hitting the upright and Angus O'Brien sending a long ranged effort wide. Jones did slot one in the 25th minute.

Almost as an old school tighthead from the Scarlets but the Ospreys go to ground and it's Wyn Jones who celebrates loudest as the Scarlets win the penalty.
