Welcome to Ultimate Rugby's live coverage of this round 5 Heineken Cup match where Northampton Saints travel to the Liberty Stadium to take on The Ospreys. A huge game for the Saint here today as they will need maximum points here today if they are to stand any chance of qualifying for the quarter finals. The Saints turned around a hammering at Franklin Gardens by Leinster by defeating the 3 time European champions in Dublin to put themselves back in contention in this competition, but a win and a 4 try bonus point will be needed to have any hope of progressing to the next stage. As for Ospreys in their matches so far in this pool they have never lacked effort but have lacked the cutting edge to put away Leinster, Northampton and Castres losing the first 3 matches by no more than 11 points, but will be happy they picked up a win at home to French champions Castres in round 4 of the competition. Both sides go into this game on some good form with Ospreys winning their last four games and picking up win against Scarletts last Friday. As for the Saints they also go into this game on the back of four straight wins, which included a win against Harlequins last Friday further cementing their second place spot in the Aviva Premiership as they look to book their place for the Premiership final on May 31st. Northampton won the reserve fixture 27-16 at Franklin Gardens and will be hoping for a similar result today although they only got three tries that day they will be looking for a win and four tries if they want to progress to the final 8. Kick off is half an hour away so stay with us for further updates and analysis on tonights match.
