TRY OSPREYS. Rhys Webb has been a live wire all evening and try is just reward for the scrum half. The number 9 snipes round the side of the ruck and sells a dummy to the cardiff defender before bundling his way over the line. Nigel Owens looks to the TMO for confirmation and the try is duely awarded. Biggar converts with ease. 24-9

Cardiff with a put into the LO just outside their own 22. The blues are playing the ball too far behind the gain line and are struggling under the host's defensive line speed.

Osprey's under some pressure once again as the Blues look a rejuvenated side at the start of this second half. However they are still struggling to string together more then 5 or 6 phases of play which is killing their momentum

The whistle goes for half time and both teams make their way in from the pouring rain. As previously mentioned, the ospreys have been the far superior side in the first 40 with a staggering 81% of the territory. Arguably a much better reflection of how this game is playing out then the score board. The Blues will be happy to be only down by 8 points. A strong scrum and Davies's boot have kept the visitor's hopes alive. The osprey's back line have been particularly impressive here this evening with stand out performances from Webb, Davies and Natogo. Stay tuned for the second half!
