I'm not assuming your welsh. I just said Ireland weren't consistent enough that's why wales won. If we played each game with that intensity Ireland would of been grand slam champs. BOD is the man. Outstanding professional and is still top class. Maybe not what he was 4 years ago in South Africa but still top class. John Davies is a great player but not as good or in my opinion will never reach BOD past or present. John Davies missed the tackle on Ashley copper in the 2nd lions test to bring it to the decider. Everyone forgets that. The lions would of won that 3rd test with BOD at 13 or JD. Patrick your points are so flawed and you are looking at the whole thing with blinkers on. Wales are a great team and have been for a long time now. Ireland are great in patches, consistency is key for wales. Remember Ireland were the only team to beat wales last year in 6N.

Patrick, you can't talk about a single player based on the teams accomplishments, i.e. JD is a good part of the Welsh winning formula but just a part. O'Driscolls performances have been consistent since 1999, thats 14 years at the top. JD has potential to be great, but come back in another 10 years and we'll see how argument stands up. Gatland chose Davies simply to complete the almost full welsh team! The welsh back line have had more experience and chemistry playing together than BOD has with the rest of the welsh team! BOD has more skill and talent, I doubt Davies will be able to play at that level at the age of 34
