FULL-TIME: Leicester run out 41-18 winners at Kingston Park this afternoon. A strong performance in the second half from the Tigers secured the game with Goneva putting in a big shift in the back line and Ed Slater doing likewise up front. The Tigers were able to secure the bonus point in the dying minutes as Matera sneaked over the line for Leicester's fourth. Goneva was awarded the man of the match award for his strong running this afternoon and brace. Newcastle will be disappointed with today's result no doubt. A strong first half saw them well in touch going into the second period, but they were unable to quell Leicester's power and energy in the latter 40 minutes even when the Tiger's were a man down more than once.
