Half time here in this Currie Cup semi final at Kings Park, Durban. The Cheetahs started the game very well getting the opening try but were unable to hold out the Sharks with Pat Lambie getting 16 points through the boot and a try just before the end of the half.
The Sharks really increasing the tempo just before the end of the half. They receive the restart and a great run from Francois Steyn gives the Sharks great field position and force the Cheetahs to give away the penalty inside their own 22m due to tackler not rolling away. Pat Lambie converts the kick to end the half.
TRY SHARKS! Lambie gets the Sharks first try after throwing the dummy and breaking the tackle just outside the Cheetahs 22m, he runs in under the posts and then converts his own try.
Sharks dominating the possession stats so far in this game but are unable to break through to get their first try. Great kicking in play from Lambie is giving the Sharks great opportunities to score but the final piece of finishing play is lacking for the Sharks.
Sharks rewarded with another penalty in the Cheetahs half, Patrick Lambie makes no mistake this time with the kick and now we have a one point game.

After good phases from the Sharks players they are rewarded a penalty in front of the posts due to Cheetahs players being offside. Pat Lambie is unable to convert the kick and it stays 7-3.
