The crowd ignite as Montpellier find their rhythm and break up field through Sicart
Ulster's pack start well in the second half with a penalty at the first scrum. Frightening to think that they still have Afoa to bring on!
SUFTUM
Montpellier look lively at the start of the 2nd half. Trimble appeared to have won a high ball but Nagusa did superbly to strip him off possession in the air. From the ruck Montpellier find some space out wide but the ball gets tied up on the ground but Montpellier retain the ball with a scrum.
What a ball from Payne, set the whole move up.
Ulster will no doubt be the happier side at HT, but what will the coaches have to say, having left 9 points out there. No doubt the defensive coach will be delighted with Ulster's effort. Forcing Trinh-Duc to attempt a rash drop goal is a testament to how strong the Ulster defence is. No doubt, Montpellier will have a few tricks up their sleeve for the second 40. And with a bench as strong as theirs it could be a completely different game in the 2nd half. Be sure to stay tuned.
Trinh-Duc sees his attempted drop goal drift wide. The fact he was forced to attempt the shot is a sign of how strong the Ulster defence is.
Big call from the Montpellier coaching staff as Benoit Sicart replaces Floch. The young Sicart is still in his first professional season, will he be able to deal with the ariel bombardment?
Montpellier's handling errors are hampering any chance they have of getting a foothold in this game. Ulster will be very happy with the opening 30 minutes.
That 9 points gone so far comes on RP get it together
