come on irish
Saracens look very confident passing the ball around in the Irish 22m. Barritt puts in a clumsy kick which chip which Topsy Ojo has no problem dealing with. Ojo boots the ball down field which Farrell gathers but his clearance kick is charged down by Ojo
Billy Vunipola gets in behind the Irish defence and the Exiles scrap on the ground illegally, giving Farrell the chance to get the first points of the 2nd half
3 tries in this first half have kept the crowd entertained. Sarries have looked good and controlled their play, forcing Irish to life off scraps. Every time Saracens score Irish have responded well with a good restart, winning several (in fairness the get plenty of practice!!). Looking at the benches, Saracens have the stronger of the two which would lead one to believe that Saracens will pull away. But thanks to that late try Irish are still in with a sniff! Second half to follow.
A crucial score for Irish after conceding a try at the other end. Low makes a break in the Sarries 22m, he out paced one and stepped the last man to close the gap to only 10 points just before the break.
Irish only manage to make 15m with their clearance. Straight from the lineout a rolling move results in Jamie George sprinting down the touchline for his 2nd try.
Saracens had two penalties 5m from the Exiles line. After opting for 2 scrums London Irish turn it over and clear their lines.
Farrell make it across the line but the ref calls the play back for an earlier infringement and awards a scrum to Saracens 5m out. Saracens dominate the scrum and earn a penalty.
yaaaas!
The powerful Billy Vunipola makes inroads in the the Irish defence again and forces Irish to infringe.
