The saints turn over and quickly find themselves in the Irish half and get another penalty which Dickson converts to increase the lead.

Great response by London Irish as they are so close to getting they're first score of the game. After a great run by Tom Fowlie Irish find themselves on the Saints line, Dec Danaher picks and goes and looks to have found the line, he does but the referee penalises him for a double movement.

We have the first try of the game and it goes to the away side and you can't say they don't deserve it. London Irish find themselves in the Saints 22, as they pass the ball through the hands Nutley intercepts the pass and makes a run towards the line the flanker doesn't have the legs to last and offloads to Packman and the winger get his first try for the Saints. Dickson adds the extra's to give Northampton a healthy lead.

After preventing The Saints just short of the line they eventually concede another penalty for hands in the ruck and Dickson once again adds another score to Northampton's lead, Irish really havn't gotten going yet in this game.
