Edinburgh lose the ball and Gopperth collects and does enough to avoid being tackled on his own line. McGrath clears with a box kick but Fanning knocks it forward in the air and Edinburgh will get the scrum on the 22.

Gopperth's kick is poor and goes straight into touch. Edinburgh have a lineout on the Leinster 22.

Great start for Leinster as Ryan gets the opening score of the game. From the lineout they formed a maul which was collapsed illegally by Edinburgh with the referee playing advantage and from that Ryan picked up the ball from the back of the ruck and touched down for the home side. Gopperth's conversion is poor and Leinster lead 5-0.

Nigel Owens gives Leinster a penalty for tackling McGrath without the ball and they kick to the corner instead of going for the posts.
