Japan finally having a bit of possession on the ball. Have travelled 50 metres up the pitch after deciding to not clear the ball and test the All Black defence.
Try All Blacks. That's 7 now. New Zealand win the scrum against the head and Tawera Kerr-Barlow sees a gap and puts a cheeky grubber through which finds Beauden Barrett who dives on it to score his 1st of the day. He converts his own score and the score is now 47-6 to New Zealand.
Another penalty at the breakdown against Japan. Stupid from Japan as they had just won a free kick. New Zealand will have the scrum.
New Zealand attacking inside the Japan 22. The Japanese discipline has not improved here and they have continued to give away penalties.
New Zealand win a penalty as a Japanese attacker goes alone isolated. Kickable penalty but Barrett goes down the line.
Try New Zealand. 6th try for the away side after Richie McCaw picked off the scrum and popped off to Tawera Kerr-Barlow. Kerr-Barlow comes agonisingly close but on his debut Kenki Fukuoka picks off the back of the ruck and dives over to score. Beauden Barrett kick is wide so score is 40-6 to the All Blacks.
Japan now giving away a lot of penalties at ruck time. Need to keep an eye on the offside line as the ref is being very picky on it. The All Blacks have a scrum 10m out from the Japan line.
Jeremy Thrush goes close but he is held up. Still pushing for a 6th try.
The All Blacks nearly cross over for their 6th try after turning the scrum over but they knock on 5 metres from the line. Total dominance at the moment.
Try New Zealand. It was coming. A first test try for Jeremy Thrush as he bundled over after picking off the ruck. Great maul from New Zealand from the line out and 1 phase later their over. Carter's conversion is good once more and he ends his game on a high. 35-6 after 50 minutes.
