Alex Dunbar gets binned for a dangerous clear out on Jonathan Sexton
see sexton making sure the referee was watching before acting hurt. diving ****.
what a loud of rubbish. lets play football instead.
you can't bloody suplex someone when cleaning out a ruck you bunch of moaning eejits, it's a yellow card offence all day
good players make sure the ref is watching
tbf no need. it's not like sexton would clear the ruck. if he pushed too hard he's get a concussion
Whether he's faking hurt or not, he took hips above 90 and nearly dropped him on his head. It was not only unnecessary but highly illegal.
ahahaha suplex, love it ??
Illegal yes, yellow card yes, but faking injuries like a footballer is far worse in my book.
More than likely a card, but Sextons waving arms like a kissballer, then holding his head pretending to be hurt, was disgracefull. Any admiration I had for Sexton evaporated. He, in effect, cheated to get a man carded.
I agree. But in today's rugby where TMO is key, you do what you need to. I'm disappointed in Sexton for that extra performance but it got the attention of the ref so it served its purpose
I think it's safe to say the wrestling move would have got the refs attention. No as a rugby player you never claim injuries you don't have. the game Is far to dangerous to fake injuries. No place for it in rugby.
Again, I'm disappointed in him holding his head afterwards. That has no place in rugby if he wasn't actually hurt. But his immediate response to throw up his hands and react to the illegal clear was justified.
