Extremely dry, hard and quick surface under foot today. There are no excuses for handling errors in what should hopefully be a free flowing game.
Players are now on the pitch and the kick-off is only moments away
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Currie Cup with Griquas hosting the Natal Sharks at the GWK Stadium. The hosts are traditionally very competitive on their rock hard home surface and today will be no different. The Griquas won in Durban in the first round of the competition this year, but have failed to kick on for the promising start. They are now in the position of needing to win or they will be left behind on the bottom of the Currie Cup table. The Sharks have stuck with the side that did battle at Newlands last week, except for one notable change. Pieter-steph du Toit comes into the second row in an attempt to give the pack a bit more grunt. Stay tuned to what we hope will be an exciting game here this afternoon!
