Harlequins take a 21-3 lead over Gloucester into halftime. Poor discipline inside the opening ten minutes from Gloucester saw Quins keep the scoreboard ticking over with three penalties to open up a 9-0 lead. Gloucester then got on the board with a penalty, but a Quins try shortly after saw the visitors up 16-3. Quins then picked up a yellow card, but despite some intense pressure near their own line managed to keep Gloucester out with some superb defence and crucial turnovers.
