Hello and welcome to Ultimate Rugby's coverage of the EP Kings vs. the Lions in the Currie Cup opening weekend. It's a grudge match first up. The Kings have a new head coach in the form of Brent Janse van Rensburg who will look to change the Kings fortunes after a disappointing Vodacom Cup. The Kings will need to significantly improve to compete at Currie Cup level and Super Rugby thereafter. The Lions come into the Currie Cup after a very successful Super Rugby campaign and will be hoping to secure a bonus-point victory.
