Canterbury have played better rugby this season, but have been very clinical today. Counties have had their play repeatedly broken down illegally by Canterbury, but have failed to capitalize on the penalty opportunities. Unless the referee goes to the book next half, I struggle to see a way into the game for Counties. They just don't seem to have that clinical and creative edge to penetrate the Canterbury defense.

The score could be looking very different if Counties had someone to put the ball through the sticks. But they don't, and Canterbury will walk into their change room feeling very comfortable.
