Connacht take an 8-7 lead over Leinster into halftime. Connacht opened the scoring with a try eight minutes in to lead 5-0. Connacht picked up a yellow card ten minutes later, but despite being down a player added a penalty to make it 8-0. Leinster hit back with a score five minutes from the break to trail by just a single point.
