Who remembers the 2010 semi final Leinster V Clermont? Brock James choked, costing his team 23 points, with 5 missed kicks at goal and 3 missed drop goals.

Imminent doom is a great motivator. The fact of the matter is that once the first whistle sounds all previous form, all pre match build up and all excuses go out the window. The team that battles harder, has the greater hunger and plays the smartest rugby will prevail.
There is no doubt Clermont will fancy themselves today but underestimate Munster at their peril. Munster have strived with the tag of underdogs, they love proving people wrong. Ronan O'Gara, Mr Heineken Cup, will be at the helm as he will look to dictate the pace of the game and play the majority of the match in Clermont territory. But even the most diehard Munster fan can deny that it will back-to-the-wall stuff for the full 80minutes. Munster will have to draw on all their passion and experience if they are to topple these French giants.
