An entertaining half of rugby that burst into life inside the first two minutes of the game as Gerhard Olivier went over the line from a brilliant lineout move by the Cheetahs. Ulster responded almost immediately through David Shannahan. Tian Schoeman gave the lead back to the Cheetahs before Shanahan got his second of the evening. Maxwane set up a wonderful try for the Cheetahs that was finished off by William-Small Smith. Half time: Cheetahs 17-14 Ulster.
