Lombard gets the second half underway for the Lions, taken by Louw

The Lions take a 23-13 lead over the Bulls into halftime. The Bulls opened the scoring with a penalty just a minute in. It was all Lions for a twenty minute period as they alternated two shots at goal with two tries to race into a 20-3 lead. The Bulls responded with a try, but the Lions added another penalty to make it 23-8. However, a late Bulls score sees the hosts trail by ten points at the break.
