Welcome to the first European meeting between Pool 4's Brive and Bristol Bears. Brive have won seven of their last eight home games against English opposition, but Bristol, the Pool leaders, have emerged victorious in three of their last four away Challenge Cup ties in France. The Bears had an impressive first round last weekend as they made 163 tackles in their 59-21 win over Zebre – a joint Round 1 high. Bristol’s Ioan Lloyd further slotted all eight of his place kicks against Zebre, the joint highest last weekend. This sets the stage for an interesting and exciting clash ahead.
