The Crusaders take a 13-0 lead over the Blues into halftime. The Crusaders opened the scoring with a drop goal 13 minutes in and added a penalty around the half hour mark to lead 6-0. The Crusaders then ran in the only try of the half on the stroke of halftime for a handy advantage at the break after a dominant first half.
