@jason if you think that's a racist comment then you have serious issues. So the same could be said about your comments in previous posts when referring to England. Think it's time you grew up and stopped taking everything so serious. It's a debate, learn how to debate without playing a racist card!!!! You seem to absolve Davies for any faults he has in the 2 Ames just trying to focus on the positives which there aren't many.

hopefully its tight on 60 mins and can bring in tuilagi to break the line. not sure bod would have been dropped had he been welsh

Johnny Gertz Jul 7

Despite a few bad decisions from Gatland, after seeing the aussie lineup i think Lions do have a chance. For example, Jamie Roberts will be a huge challenge to handle for Christian Lealiofano especially considering he had to go off after 1 (and the first) charge from Jonathan Davies and Gatland likes to use Roberts a lot.

And the big call should've been a tap and go for that final penalty. Not kicking away possession.

Jason F. Jul 7

So name your team. I keep asking the same question but you dodge it. If JD was in the 13 position then BOD was out of position. Are you saying the game was lost solely by JD? His tackling is excellent, look at the first test. I don't have rose tinted glasses. As for leadership skills, at the end if the game after SW went off injured BOD kicked the ball away and didn't take over responsibility like you keep saying he would/should. My team as stated would've been Jones, T Youngs, Corby, AWJ, Gray ir Evans, Tippers, Faletau, Croft, Philips, Sexton, Roberts, BOD, North, Bowe, Halfpenny.. Fact is the team is picked. Nothing you can do about it and with the guys there there is a wealth of experience. The racist comment about Wales not beating the Ozzies was poor, the character of that side came when turning the losing streak to a tournament winner.

Rose tinted glasses.

Joe Murray Jul 7

@Jim, a point I have been making which due to rise tinted glasses the welsh fans seem to ignore and think that the team has leadership. There isn't one player in that team that I would have faith in to make the big calls. Fearful that it will turn into taking quick tap and go by forwards in kickable positions. Going for line out position when we should kick. All because we don't have a recognised leader on the park.

Jim D. Jul 7

Leadership or lack thereof is my great concern for BOD not even to make the bench is beyond comprehension this team could fall apart under Aussie pressure

Joe Murray Jul 7

And an evasive runner and poacher is not enough. He needs to tackle as well.

Joe Murray Jul 7

@jason, so he was played out of position. But you keep forgetting that he was in the 13 position for the Aussie try and was call watching and totally missed coming up in the line. He is not a good player, he is average. Poacher? Never seem him at one breakdown to poach a ball. Your arguments are totally biased in favour or welsh players. And you seem to give very little credit to anyone else. 99% of people would pick o Driscoll over Davies any day. As for a leader o Driscoll needed to be in the team. You said making the right calls would rule bod out? Explain your flawed argument there? And explain why missing the game winning tackle doesn't rule Davies out? Get the feeling you didn't see the last game as all throughout the game 12 &13 were swapping positions.
