Faumuina's first action of the 2nd half is to concede a penalty at scrumtime. Marcelo Bosch ambitiously points to the posts
Poor error from Juan Martin Hernandez as he kick the restart out on the full. A perfect attack position for New Zealand with a midfield scrum on half way.
Paddy Power still reckon New Zealand can push on for a 11 point win. What do you reckon, is that a bit ambitious?
HT here in Argentina. Only one try but plenty to talk about! The NZ defence has so far proved resilient but a combination of indiscipline and a very dominant scrum has provided Los Pumas with plenty of opportunities to launch attacks and to kick their goals. New Zealand have looked good going forward but the Argentinian defence has been strong and bar the piece of magic from Savea they the world champions haven't looked to threaten the try line. If Argentina can slow down the pace and continue their domiance at the scrum they are in with every chance of what would be a major scalp here in La Plata.
Cruden chips and chases, Martin Hernandez can't gather the greasy ball but neither could Cruden as Landajo sweeps in behind to mop up the sliding ball.
Juan Martin Hernandez kicks it out on the full after taking a pass from outside his 22m. Off an attacking lineout in a good position, Los Pumas are let off the hook as Hore over throws and the home side regain possession.
Both sides are very competitive at the breakdown, resulting in scrappy ball for the half backs.
An outstanding scrum from the Puma tight 5. They are really laying down a marker at the set piece.
Ma'a Nonu makes it cross the gain line , putting the Puma defence under pressure to get around, to come through the gate of the ruck. They are too slow to retreat and the ref awards a penalty to the All Blacks.
Cruden was given a second attempt with that conversion after Argentina charged the kick early. There is also a laser being shone on the ball. Disappointing to see from the crowd in La Plata.
