Argentina showed incredible pace and power in attack against Ireland, and they will look to continue where they left off against Australia. Somewhat surprisingly it has been the Argentinian backs who have impressed most this World Cup campaign, with the likes of Imhoff and Cordero looking dangerous with every possession. Marcelo Bosch returns at outside centre after his suspension, and will look to lead the defensive line in the face of the dangerous Australian outside backs. In the pack, Augustin Creevy continues to captain the side at hooker.
Australia come into todays match off the back of their last minute win over Scotland last week in Cardiff. Many thought that Australia were lucky to get through that one, so there wont be any complacency from them this week. Micheal Cheika welcomes back David Pocock and Israel Folau to his side, two players of genuine world class ability. Pocock especially, in tandem with Michael Hooper in the backrow, has been dynamic both in defence and attack, and surely a contender for player of the tournament. Scott Sio has failed to recover in time and so James Slipper starts in the front row, alongside Stephen Moore who captains the side.
If yesterdays semi final was a war of attrition, this match could well be a battle of wits and skill. Both teams have shown real ambition with ball in hand at this years competition, so expect line breaks and offloads aplenty.
Any last minute team changes
