Newcastle Falcons 23 Wasps 23, match report: Points shared at Kingston Park after error-strewn performances

Newcastle will cherish the league point they collected at Kingston Park far
more than Wasps, whose spluttering and error-strewn performance prevented
them from consolidating their place near the top of the table.




Wasps did have a superb individual performance by centre Elliot Daly to
celebrate, but their standards dropped in other areas and would probably
have been flattered had they left the north-east with a win under their
belts.




As sprightly as Newcastle had looked at the start, they also ran out of gas
all too quickly and ended the first half on the wrong side…
