Disciplinary Luke Stratford (Leicester Tigers Women)

On 16 January 2024, Luke Stratford, a coach of Leicester Tigers Women, appeared before an independent disciplinary panel charged under RFU Rule 5.12. conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game.
 
The hearing relates to an incident in the 65th minute of Leicester’s match against Bristol Bears Women on 13 January 2024.
 
Mr Stratford acknowledged the Match Official Abuse Report, completed by Adam White (the 4th Official), and fully accepted his behaviour was “inappropriate and unacceptable”.
 
He received a seven-week ban. This follows the RFU’s implementation of increased sanctions at all levels of the game for abuse of match officials.
 
Mr Stratford will miss the following games:

21.01 v Sale Sharks Women 
03.02 v Gloucester-Hartpury
10.02 v Loughborough Lightning
23.02 v Trailfinders Women
03.03 v Saracens Women
13.04 v Harlequins Women
20.04 v Trailfinders Women
